| Abstract: | การศึกษาเรื่องสำนวนไทยในบทละครนอกเรื่อง คาวี เป็นการช่วยให้คนปัจจุบันสามารถอ่านบทละครนอกเรื่องนี้ได้โดยเข้าใจความหมายของสำนวนและเรื่องราวได้อย่างกระจ่างแจ้งและลึกซึ้งยิ่งขึ้น ทำให้เกิดความรู้สึกดื่มด่ำซาบซึ้งในคุณค่าของบทละครเรื่องดังกล่าวนี้มากยิ่งขึ้น บทละครนอกเรื่องคาวีแพรวพราวไปด้วยสำนวนโวหารที่คมคายรวมทั้งสำนวนไทยที่มีความหมายกินใจ ถ้าผู้อ่านอ่านโดยไม่เข้าใจความหมายของสำนวนเหล่านั้นแล้ว จะทำให้เสียอรรถรสไปอย่างน่าเสียดาย |
| Other Abstract: | King Rama ΙΙ’s plays are bedecked with metaphoric idioms. In this article, only those in one of his plays Khawee will be discussed. The metaphoric idioms in the play reflect beliefs, ways of living at that time. To fully appreciate the plays, one should study these idioms and understand them first. |
