| Abstract: | จารึกหลักที่ 44 นับได้กว่าเป็นจารึกอักษรไทยภาคกลางที่เก่าที่สุดเท่าที่ปรากฏหลักฐานในปัจจุบัน ตัวอักษรบางตัวจะมีลักษณะต่างไปจากตัวอักษรในจารึกที่ค้นพบแถบจังหวัดสุโขทัย ในจารึกหลักนี้จะมีการใช้ไม้ยมกเป็นครั้งแรก และมีการใช้ตัวเลขบางตัวที่น่าสนใจ |
| Other Abstract: | Inscription No. 44 represents the oldest Thai script of the central part of Thailand so far. Some letters look different from those in the Sukhothai inscriptions .The repetition marker(maj jamok) appears in use for the first time. Also, there is an interesting use of some numerals. |
