Abstract:	ปัจจุบันภาษาเยอรมันทวีความสำคัญยิ่งขึ้นในการติดต่อสื่อสารระหว่างประเทศ ทั้งนี้เพราะบทบาทผู้นำทางการเมืองและเศรษฐกิจในทวีปยุโรปและบทบาทมหาอำนาจทางเศรษฐกิจโลกของประเทศเยอรมนี ในประเทศไทยแม้มีการเรียนการสอนภาษาเยอรมันในระดับอุดมศึกษามากว่าสามทศวรรษ แต่ในทางวิชาการยังขาดแคลนเครื่องมือพื้นฐานสำหรับการศึกษาค้นคว้า คือ พจนานุกรม โดยเฉพาะพจนานุกรมศัพท์เฉพาะด้านภาษาเยอรมันในแขนงวิชาต่าง ๆ พจนานุกรมศัพท์รัฐศาสตร์เยอรมัน-ไทยนี้เป็นพจนานุกรมศัพท์เฉพาะด้านรัฐศาสตร์ภาษาเยอรมัน-ไทยฉบับแรก เป็นผลของการทำวิจัยค้นคว้ากว่า 6 ปี พจนานุกรมนี้บรรจุคำศัพท์กว่า 5600 คำและแสดงรายละเอียดการใช้คำศัพท์และประโยคตัวอย่างกว่า 2700 รายการ
Other Abstract:	German is increasingly important in international communication as a result of Germany’s political and economic leadership in Europe and its role as an economic world superpower. Despite the fact that Germany has been taught at tertiary level for more than three decades, specialized German-Thai dictionaries, fundamental to research development are still lacking. This first German-Thai Political Science Dictionary is a result of 6 years of research. It contains than 5600 words definitions, 2700 detailed usage notes and examples.
