| Abstract: | ในบทความชิ้นนี้ ผู้เขียนมุ่งวิเคราะห์ตัวละครตื่อหาย ซึ่งเป็นตัวละครเอกตัวหนึ่งใน เรื่องของเกี่ยว ซึ่งเป็นวรรณกรรมชิ้นเอกของเวียดนาม ประพันธ์ขึ้นโดยกวีเอกเหงียนซู ซึ่งลักษณะเด่นประการหนึ่งของวรรณกรรมเรื่องนี้คือการที่ผู้เขียนยกย่องโจรตื่อหายว่าเป็นวีรบุรุษ และในทางกลับกันขุนนางในเรื่องกลับมีลักษณะคล้ายโจร ดังนั้น ตัวละครตื่อหายของเหงียนซูจึงสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงวิกฤตศรัทธาของประชาชนต่อราชสำนักและความยุ่งเหยิงทางการเมืองของเวียดนามในช่วงต้นคริสต์ศตวรรษที่ 19 |
| Other Abstract: | This article aims at analyzing Tu Hai, a main character in The Tale of Kieu, which is a Vietnamese masterpiece, written by the poet Nguyen Du. An observation drawn from this story is that the poet paid respect to Tu Hai, a rebel leader, and considered him a hero. On the other hand, mandarins acted like the outlaws themselves. The character Tu Hai, thus, reflects people’s loss of faith in the royal court and political chaos in the early 19th century Vietnam. |
