Abstract:	นวนิยายเรื่อง ราชมรรคา เขียนด้วยลีลาสะบัดร้อนสะบัดหนาว เพื่อสะท้อนสภาพจิตใจของตัวละครเอกนักเผชิญโชคผจญภัยในป่าดงดิบเขมร ลาว และชายแดนสยาม การแปลราชมรรคาจึงมิใช่เรื่องง่าย ผู้ประพันธ์เสนอภาพด้วยมุมมองของกล้องภาพยนตร์ด้วยการใช้โสตสัมผัส รวมทั้งใช้ความเปรียบและอุปลักษณ์ต่อเนื่อง ผู้แปลจะต้องรักษากลวิธีการประพันธ์ดังกล่าวให้ครบถ้วน บรรณาธิการต้นฉบับวรรณกรรมแปลจะ ‘สื่อสาร’ กับต้นฉบับแปลก่อนการตีพิมพ์เผยแพร่สู่สาธารณะและ ‘สนทนา’ กับผู้แปลเพื่อแก้ไขงานให้สมบูรณ์
Other Abstract:	The novel La Voie royale was written in a feverish style in order to reflect the states of mind of the two hero-adventurers in the dense forests of Cambodia, Laos and at the Siamese border. Translating this novel was, therefore, a challenging task. The author presents literary images with the technique of film camera and the sound. He also uses comparison and long-drawn-out metaphors. All these techniques must be reproduced in the Thai version. The editor of the translated work had to become acquainted with the Thai version prior to its publication and collaborate with the translator in order to achieve a better result.
