Abstract:	นวนิยายเข้ารอบคัดเลือกรางวัลวรรณกรรมสร้างสรรค์ยอดเยี่ยมแห่งอาเซียน (ซีไรต์) ประจำปี พ.ศ. 2546 เรื่อง ช่างสำราญปีกแดง โลกของจอม เสียงเพรียกจากท้องน้ำ และ อ้วน มีลักษณะที่แตกต่างไปจากขนบการเขียนนวนิยายดังนี้คือ การทำลายขอบเขตของประเภทวรรณกรรม การทำลายเอกภาพของตัวบท การสร้างตัวบทจากข้อมูลประวัติศาสตร์ การนำเสนอปัญหาของคนชายขอบ ซึ่งลักษณะทั้งหมดนี้สอดคล้องกับลักษณะส่วนหนึ่งของวรรณกรรมคตินิยมหลังสมัยใหม่ (Postmodernism)
Other Abstract:	Changsamran (Merriment), Peakdang (Red Wing), Lokkhongchom (World of Chom), Siengpriakchaktongnam (The Call from the River), and Uan (Fat) are shortlisted novels for the 2003 S.E.A. Write Awards. They differ from traditional novels in their dismantling of the novel genre through their disregard for textual unity, their reliance on historical facts in text creation, and their focus on the problems of marginalized people. This study finds that such characteristics are representative of the ‘postmodern’ genre in important ways.
