| Abstract: | วิทยานิพนธ์เรื่องนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายที่จะรวบรวมและศึกษาเรื่องกากีในประเทศไทย ทั้งที่เป็นวรรณกรรมร้อยแก้วและวรรณกรรมร้อยกรอง เพื่อให้เห็นถึงความแพร่หลายของเรื่อง และเปรียบเทียบเรื่องกากีสำนวนต่างๆ ว่ามีความเหมือนกันหรือแตกต่างกันอย่างไร จากการศึกษาพบว่าเรื่องกากีเป็นเรื่องที่แพร่หลายมากเรื่องหนึ่ง มีปรากฏทั้งในรูปแบบร้อยแก้วและร้อยกรอง เรื่องกากีที่เป็นร้อยกรองนั้นแต่งด้วยคำประพันธ์หลายรูปแบบ ได้แก่ กลอน กาพย์ คำฉันท์ กลอนสวด และลิลิต ส่วนร้อยแก้วได้แก่ ชาดกในพระไตรปิฎก แหล่งที่พบเรื่องกากีมากที่สุด คือภาคกลาง รองลงไป คือ ภาคใต้ และภาคตะวันออกตามลำดับ แต่ไม่พบในภาคเหนือและภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ เรื่องกากีมีที่มาจากนิบาตชาดกในขุททกนิกาย พระสุตตันตปิฎก ในพระไตรปิฎกเมื่อกวีไทยนำเรื่องราวมาแต่งในรูปแบบต่างๆ หลายสำนวน จึงเกิดความแตกต่างในด้านเนื้อหาอันเนื่องมาจากการเปลี่ยนรายละเอียดของเรื่องในเหตุการณ์เดียวกัน และในเหตุการณ์บางช่วง และความแตกต่างกันเนื่องมาจากการเพิ่มความซึ่งมีทั้งการเพิ่มเหตุการณ์และเพิ่มเรื่องย่อย ในด้านลักษณะการแต่งพบว่ามีความแตกต่างกันในเรื่องกลวิธีการแต่งและการใช้ภาษาอันเนื่องมาจากรูปแบบการแต่ง และความต้องการแสดงออกซึ่งความสามารถในการแต่งคำประพันธ์ของกวี ผู้วิจัยเสนอแนะว่า ควรจะศึกษาวรรณกรรมที่มีที่มาจากนิบาตชาดกเรื่องอื่นๆ เพื่อดูความแพร่หลายในวรรณกรรมไทย |
| Other Abstract: | The purpose of this thesis is to collect and make a comparative study of the different versions of Kaki in Thailand, both in prose and poetry, and to study its popularity among the Thai people. The results show that it is one of the most popular stories in Thailand. It is written both in prose and poetry. Kaki appears in many different poetic forms: Klon, Kab, Khamchan, Klonsuat, and Lilit. The prose versions are in the form of Jātata. The versions of Kaki are most popular in the central part of Thailand. It also enjoys popularity in the South and the East, but not found in the North and the Northeast. The story of Kaki is originated from Nipāta-Jātaka in Khuddaka-Nikāya which is in Suttantapitaka of the Tri-Pitaka. The different versions are different in content because of the changes in details in the situations and the expansion of both situations and sub-plots. As for style, there are some differences in the methods of writing and choices of words, which resulted from the differences in forms, and the writer is desired to show his poetic ability. A suggestion for further study is that other stories which are derived from Nipāta-Jātaka should be examined in order to explore its popularity and influence on Thai literature. |
