| Abstract: | การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาการใช้ระบบสืบค้นรายการแบบออนไลน์ของนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ในด้านวัตถุประสงค์ ความถี่ แหล่งที่ค้น การเรียนรู้ การใช้ระบบ รายการที่สืบค้น กลยุทธ์การสืบค้น และการแสดงผล ตลอดจนปัญหาในการใช้ระบบสืบค้นรายการแบบออนไลน์ โดยใช้แบบสอบถามเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากกลุ่มตัวอย่าง จำนวน 386 คน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 93.0 ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ว่า นักศึกษาส่วนใหญ่มีวัตถุประสงค์ในการใช้ระบบสืบค้นรายการแบบออนไลน์เพื่อค้นข้อมูลประกอบการทำรายงาน มีความถี่ในการใช้ 1-3 ครั้ง/สัปดาห์ ค้นจากห้องสมุดภายในมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ เรียนรู้การใช้ด้วยตนเองโดยวิธีทดลองฝึกค้น (ลองผิดลองถูก) สืบค้นโดยใช้ Tittle Keyword กลยุทธ์ที่ใช้/เคยใช้สืบค้น คือ การสืบค้นด้วยคำสำคัญ และแสดงผลการสืบค้นในรูปข้อมูลบรรณานุกรมแบบย่อ นักศึกษาประสบปัญหาระดับมาก ในด้านขาดความเข้าใจวิธีการใช้คำเชื่อม AND OR NOT จากการใช้ปุ่มคำสั่ง Multi Index จากหน้าจอเมนูหลัก ค้นรายชื่อหนังสือได้แต่หาตัวเล่มไม่พบ ไม่มีเครื่องพิมพ์บริการพิมพ์ผลการสืบค้นลงบนกระดาษ และไม่ทราบวิธีการติดตั้งโปรแกรมสืบค้นรายการแบบออนไลน์หลังจากที่ถ่ายโอนมาได้แล้ว |
| Other Abstract: | The purposes of this study are to study the use of online public access catalog (OPAC) by Thammasat University undergraduates in terms of the objectives, frequencies, access places, learning of use, access points, search strategies and display formats including the problems encountered by the students in using the OPAC. Questionnaires were collected from 386 undergraduates (93.0%) Findings reveal that most students use the OPAC for searching information for conducting reports. The frequency of use is 1-3 times per weeks. Most search the OPAC from libraries in Thammasat University, learn to use the system by themselves by trial and error, search by title keyword and use keyword as search strategy. The display format of search result mostly used is brief bibliographical detail. The problems encountered at the high level are the lack of understanding of the use of AND, OR, NOT from multi index command button on the main menu, the incapability to locate books from search results onthe shelves, no printer service available to print search results and the lack of information about the setting up the download program. |
