| dc.description.abstract | การวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อทราบถึงภาวะโภชนาการของเด็กก่อนวัยเรียนในชุมชนแออัดย่านท่าเรือคลองเตย ขณะเดียวกันเพื่อทราบถึงปัจจัยทางสังคมและวัฒนธรรมที่มีผลต่อภาวะโภชนาการดังกล่าว และวิเคราะห์ความสัมพันธ์ของสาเหตุปัจจัยกับภาวะโภชนาการของเด็ก ในการวิจัยได้ใช้จำนวนตัวอย่างทั้งสิ้น 75 ครัวเรือน ซึ่งเป็นครัวเรือนที่อาศัยอยู่ในชุมชนแออัดย่านท่าเรือคลองเตย พบว่า มีเด็กขาดอาหารคิดเป็นร้อยละ 28.0 (ระดับ 1) ร้อยละ 5.3 (ระดับ 2) ร้อยละ 4.0 (ระดับ 3) และจากการตรวจสอบความสัมพันธ์ของตัวแปรพบว่า เป็นไปตามสมมติฐาน คือ ปัจจัยด้านสังคม-วัฒนธรรม เศรษฐกิจ ชีวภาพของเด็ก และปัจจัยทางเทคโนโลยีอาหารมีความสัมพันธ์อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ กับภาวะโภชนาการของเด็กก่อนวัยเรียน และมีทิศทางความสัมพันธ์ในเชิงสอดคล้องหรือความสัมพันธ์สถิติในทางบวก ส่วนตัวแปรที่ไม่เป็นไปตามสมมติฐานหรือไม่แสดงความสัมพันธ์คือปัจจัยด้านกายภาพของครัวเรือน ขณะเดียวกัน การอธิบายสาเหตุปัจจัยการเกิดภาวะเด็กขาดอาหาร โดยอาศัยทั้งข้อมูลในเชิงปริมาณและข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพ พบว่า สามารถจำแนกตัวแปรที่มีผลต่อภาวะโภชนาการของเด็กดังกล่าวข้างต้นเป็น 2 กลุ่มใหญ่ และเรียงลำดับความเข้มหรือระดับความสัมพันธ์ทางสถิติได้คือ 1) ปัจจัยฐานะทางเศรษฐกิจในครัวเรือน 2) ปัจจัยทางสังคม-วัฒนธรรม - ความสนใจดูแลเด็กและอาหารเด็ก - ความเข้าใจหรือความรู้ของแม่เด็กในด้านโภชนาการและการอนามัยแม่และเด็ก อย่างไรก็ดี หากพิจารณาในด้านจำนวนตัวแปร พบว่าปัจจัยด้านสังคม-วัฒนธรรมมีผลอย่างมากเช่นเดียวกันต่อภาวะโภชนาการของเด็ก กล่าวคือ พบตัวแปรถึง 9 ตัวแปร ที่เป็นสาเหตุปัจจัยในขณะที่พบตัวแปรด้านเศรษฐกิจในครัวเรือนเพียง 4 ตัวแปร ที่เป็นสาเหตุปัจจัยหรือแสดงความสัมพันธ์กับภาวะโภชนาการของเด็ก นอกจากนั้น ยังพบข้ออธิบายจากข้อมูลกรณีศึกษา ว่าสาเหตุปัจจัยดังกล่าวมีผลกระทบซึ่งกันและกัน คือ ฐานะทางเศรษฐกิจในครัวเรือนและความเข้าใจ/ ความรู้ของแม่เด็ก มีผลต่อความสนใจ เด็กและอาหารเด็ก และพบว่ามีลักษณะในชุมชนอีก 2 ประการ ที่เป็นสิ่งผลักดันให้เกิดการขาดความสนใจนี้คือ การขาดการให้ความสำคัญต่อเด็กในฐานะเป็นองค์ประกอบหลักของครัวเรือน หรือการขาดการให้ความสำคัญต่อเด็กและการขาดการมองเห็นความสำคัญในเรื่องของอาหารในชีวิตประจำวัน | |
| dc.description.abstractalternative | The purposes of this research are: 1) to study pre-school children’s nutritional status in Klongtoey slum, 2) to study social and cultural factors affecting the nutritional status, and 3) to analyse the correlation between affectional factors and children’s nutritional status. A sample of 75 households were selected from household in the Klongtoey slum, It was found that 28.0 percent of pre-school children were first stage malnutritional affection, 5.3 percent were in second stage malnutritional affection, and finally, 4.0 percent in third stage malnutritional affection. The testing of correlation of variables confirmed the hypothesis, i.e. social and cultural and economic factors, children physical conditions and food technology had direct and significant correlation with children’s nutritional status. Those not having correlation were physical household surroundings. Cause of malnutritional or the affectional factors of the pre-school malnutritional children, from the analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data, can be classified into two groups arranged into statistical order as follows: 1) factors concerning household economy 2) factors concerning social and cultural conditions. - carefulness on children and their food, - mother’s nutritional knowledge. The study of numbers of variables had shown that factors concerning social and cultural conditions of the households had important affect on pre-school children malnutritional status, i.e. nine variables had shown significant correlations. Only 4 variables on economic conditions of the household had significant correlation with the nutritional status of pre-school children. The analysis of 4 case studies further explained factors of household economy and mother’s nutritional knowledge in the sense that they had influence to the carefulness of mother upon her child and child health directed food. It was also found that within the community, children and health food had not been given much interest and care. These had been often neglected and not treated as crucial for the whole families. | |
