| Abstract: | การศึกษา คอนสทิทิวทีฟเฮเทอโรโครมาติน (constitutive heterochromatin) หรือ C – band ในโครโมโซมหมายเลข 1, 9 และ 16 ของโครโมโซมที่เตรียมจากเลือดผู้ป่วยโรคมะเร็งปากมดลูก จำนวน 50 คน และ control 40 คน โดยใช้เทคนิค C – banding และการจำแนกของ C – band ตามวิธีของ Patill และ Lubs พบว่า การกระจายตัวของขนาด C – band ของโครโมโซมหมายเลข 1 และ 16 ในผู้ป่วย และ control มีความแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (X2 = 9.92**และX2 = 9.28** ตามลำดับ) ส่วนการกระจายตัวของขนาด C-band ของโครโมโซมหมายเลข 9 ในผู้ป่วยและ control ไม่มีความแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (X2 = 2.53ns) ขนาดและตำแหน่งของ C-band polymorphism ในผู้ป่วยและ control ไม่มีความแตกต่างกัน ยกเว้นในโครโมโซมหมายเลข 16 พบมีความแตกต่างกันของ heteromorphism ในด้านขนาดอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (X2 = 4.338*) |
| Other Abstract: | Constitutive heterochromatin in chromosome number 1, 9 and 16 was investigated in chromosome preparation from peripheral blood cultures of 50 patients with carcinoma of cervical uteri and of 40 controls. The investigation was carried out by using C – banding technique and classified by using Patil and Lubs's standardization. Analysis of the distribution of C –band size between the patients and controls showed significant difference in the frequencies of distribution of chromosome number l and 16 (X2 = 9.92** and 9.28** respectively) and found no significant difference in the distribution of C-band size in chromosome number 9. (X2 = 2.53ns) The C-band polymorphism in size and location was found not to differ in the patients and in the controls except for chromosome number 16. There was significant difference in heteromorphism in size of chromosome number 16 (X2 = 4.338*) |
