| Other Abstract: | This paper provides a psychoanalytic interpretation of Moliere's L'Ecole des femmes. It seeks to make sense of Arnolphe's characteristics. Considering interaction between Arnolphe and other characters, it is found that the hero has a behavioral pattern that imply sado-machistic tendency. |
