dc.description.abstract	การวิจัยครั้งนี้มุ่งวิเคราะห์ตัวแปรสำคัญที่สามารถจำแนกกลุ่มผู้สูงอายุที่มีปัญหาสุขภาพจิตภาคเหนือของประเทศไทย จำนวนตัวอย่างประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัยนี้ เป็นกลุ่มผู้สูงอายุที่ได้จากการสุ่มตัวอย่างหลายขั้นตอน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือ แบบสัมภาษณ์ แบบมีโครงสร้างที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้นเองโดยนำไปหาความตรงตามเนื้อหาจากผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ 10 ท่าน แบบสัมภาษณ์มีค่าความเที่ยงเท่ากับ .09 ข้อมูลที่ได้นำมาวิเคราะห์หาค่าร้อยละ ค่าคะแนนเฉลี่ย คะแนนส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และวิเคราะห์ตัวแปร จำแนกประเภท โดยวิธีตรง และวิธีที่มีขั้นตอน ผลการวิจัยที่สำคัญคือ 1. ตัวแปรสำคัญที่มีส่วนในการจำแนกกลุ่มผู้สูงอายุที่มีปัญหาสุขภาพจิตและกลุ่มผู้สูงอายุที่ไม่มีปัญหาสุขภาพจิต มี 14 ตัวแปร 2. ตัวแปรที่มีน้ำหนักในการจำแนกสูง 11 อันดับแรกคือ ความเพียงพอของรายได้ ขนาดของเครือข่าย จำนวนรายได้ จำนวนสมาชิกในครอบครัว พฤติกรรมการป้องกันโรค การทำกิจกรรมในสังคม ความรู้สึกสูญเสีย การสนับสนุนทางสังคม อาชีพรับจ้าง สถานภาพสมรส และอาชีพค้าขาย	-
dc.description.abstractalternative	This research was designed to analyze the variables which would be able to discriminate groups of mentally healthy and mentally ill elderly, Northern region of Thailand. The sample of this study consisted of 150 mentally healthy and 150 mentally ill elderly, collected by systematic sampling. The interviewing questionnaire developed by the researcher was used in collecting data for this study. The questionnaire had been evaluated by 10 experts for content validity. The reliability of the questionnaire was .09. The data were analyzed by using the following statistic procedures, percentage, mean, standard deviation and discriminant analysis. (Direct Method and Stepwise Method). The major findings were as follows: 1. There were 14 variables which would be able to discriminate the groups of mentally healthy and mentally ill elderly. 2. The eleven variables which had high prominent weight of discriminant were adequate income, size of network, amount of income, member in family, health protection behavior, participation in social activities, sense of loss, social support, labour occupation, married status, and merchant occupation.	-
