Abstract:	การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาวิเคราะห์เรื่องสั้นแนวสัญลักษณ์ของไทย (พ.ศ. 2500 – พ.ศ. 2530) โดยละเอียด ในด้านกลวิธีการเขียน การใช้สัญลักษณ์ และแนวคิด ผลการวิจัยสรุปว่า เรื่องสั้นแนวสัญลักษณ์ของไทย (พ.ศ. 2500 – พ.ศ. 2530) มีกลวิธีการเขียนด้วยการใช้สัญลักษณ์เพื่อสื่อสารและแนวคิดอยู่ในองค์ประกอบของเรื่อง นักเขียนอาจเลือกใช้สัญลักษณ์ในองค์ประกอบใด องค์ประกอบหนึ่ง หรือองค์ประกอบทั้งหมอของเรื่องสั้นก็ได้ ประเด็นสำคัญคือการใช้สัญลักษณ์แทนความหมายได้อย่างเหมาะสม และมีกลวิธีการสื่อสัญลักษณ์ที่สัมพันธ์กันอย่างเป็นระบบผู้อ่านจึงสามารถเข้าใจสาระที่แท้จริงของเรื่องได้ เรื่องสั้นแนวสัญลักษณ์มีการสร้างโครงเรื่อง ทั้งที่เน้นให้เห็นสัญลักษณ์และเป็นสัญลักษณ์ มีกลวิธีการดำเนินเรื่อง ได้แก่ การเปิดเรื่อง การสร้างความขัดแย้งการลำดับเรื่อง การใช้อนุภาค การปิดเรื่อง และการเล่าเรื่องที่เป็นสัญลักษณ์หรือเอื้ออำนวยต่อการสื่อสัญลักษณ์ มีกลวิธีการสร้างฉาก ตัวละคร การใช้บทสนทนา และกลวิธีการใช้ภาษาทั้งที่เป็นสัญลักษณ์และช่วยแสดงสัญลักษณ์ แนวคิดที่ปรากฏผ่านการตีความสัญลักษณ์ ได้แก่ แนวคิดเกี่ยวกับการเมือง เกี่ยวกับสังคมและเกี่ยวกับชีวิต ซึ่งเป็นเรื่องที่ค่อนข้างซับซ้อนจึงสอดคล้องกับกลวิธีการใช้สัญลักษณ์ที่มุ่งหมายเพื่อแนะให้คิดได้ลึกซึ้งและกว้างไกล
Other Abstract:	The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the Thai Symbolical Short Stories between B.E. 2500 – B.E. 2530 in the detail aspects of writing techniques utilizing symbols and formulating themes. Results of this thesis can be summarized as follows. Various symbols had been used for communication purpose the formulating themes are also related to the very core factors of the stories. Authors may have either used one symbol or more to relate to one factor or more as appropriate according to the author’s judgement. The authors had used the symbols in such a very perfect way that all things in the plot blended most smoothly and systematically that make readers thoroughly understand the most essential part of the story. The plot had been superbly emphasized in term of the symbols and symbolic utilization. The techniques of the complication were systematically followed as exposition, conflict, sequence, motif, point of view and ending. These as expressed had been carried out in the area of symbolic application or, improving the symbolic utilization in the setting arrangements, characters, dialogues and language utilization. Themes as appeard in the utilization of the symbols are expressed the thought related to politics, social and actual lives. All these aspects are extremely complicated but they fit very nicely with the purposes of symbolic utilization and still reflected both the depth and the width of the plot.
