Abstract:	จากการนำสิ่งสกัดไดคลอโรมีเทนของกิ่งและก้านติ้วแดงมาแยกให้บริสุทธิ์ด้วยเทคนิคโครมาโทรกราฟี พบว่า แยกได้สารใหม่ในกลุ่มแซนโทน (xanthone) 1 ชนิด คือ Prunixanthone (CF-08) นอกจากนี้พบสารที่เคยมีข้อมูลการรายงานมาก่อนหน้านี้ 7 ชนิด คือ Buchanaxanthone (CF-01), Madagascin (CF-02), Vismiaquinone (CF-03), Cratoxyarborenone F (CF-04), 1,4,7-Trihydroxyxanthenone (CF-05), Macluraxanthone (CF-06) และ 1,7-dihydroxy-5,6-dimethoxyxanthone (CF-07) โดยโครงสร้างทั้งหมดได้พิสูจน์ทราบด้วยข้อมูลทางสเปกโทรสโกปี ร่วมกับการเปรียบเทียบกับข้อมูลที่เคยมีการรายงานมาก่อนหน้านี้ จากการทดสอบฤทธิ์ความเป็นพิษต่อเซลล์มะเร็งชนิด KB, Hela S-3 และ HepG2 พบว่าสาร CF-06 และ CF-08 มีความเป็นพิษต่อเซลล์มะเร็งชนิด KB, Hela S-3 และ HepG2 ในระดับดีโดยมีค่า IC₅₀ ในช่วง 1.94-11.83 μM
Other Abstract:	A new xanthone, named Prunixanthone (CF-08), along with seven known compounds, Buchanaxanthone (CF-01), Madagascin (CF-02), Vismiaquinone (CF-03), Cratoxyarborenone F (CF-04), 1,4,7-Trihydroxyxanthenone (CF-05), Macluraxanthone (CF-06) and 1,7-dihydroxy-5,6-dimethoxyxanthone (CF-07), were isolated from the branches and twigs of Cratoxylum formosum subsp. pruniflorum. Their structures were determined by spectroscopic analysis as well as comparison with the previously published data. All isolated compounds were evaluated for their cytotoxicity against KB, HeLa S-3 and HepG2 cell lines. Compounds CF-06 and CF-08 showed good cytotoxicity against KB, Hela S-3 and HepG2 cell with IC₅₀ values in the range of 1.94-11.83 μM.
