| Abstract: | บทประพันธ์เพลงดุษฎีนิพนธ์: นวนิยาย “เพชรพระอุมา” สำหรับวงซินทีสิสแจ๊สออน-ซอมเบิล ประพันธ์โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสร้างนวัตกรรมประเภทดนตรีประกอบ ผู้ประพันธ์เพลงนำเรื่องราวจากนวนิยายเพชรพระอุมาภาคแรกมาถอดความ เพื่อสร้างสรรค์เป็นบทประพันธ์เพลงที่มีสีสันลีลาและความรู้สึกในรูปแบบดนตรีแจ๊สร่วมสมัย ประพันธ์ขึ้นโดยการบูรณาการแนวคิดการประพันธ์ดนตรีแจ๊สร่วมกับการประพันธ์ดนตรีคลาสสิกและดนตรีร่วมสมัย รวมถึงเทคนิคการประพันธ์เพลงรูปแบบอื่น ๆ ที่ผู้ประพันธ์เพลงพิจารณาว่าจะช่วยส่งเสริมให้บทประพันธ์เพลง มีสุ้ม-เสียงที่สัมพันธ์สอดคล้องกับเรื่องราวจากนวนิยาย เช่น แนวคิดดนตรีโมดัลแจ๊ส แนวคิดกระแสดนตรีสิบสองเสียง แนวคิดการซ้ำทำนองและการซ้อนทำนอง การใช้อัตราจังหวะไม่สมมาตร เทคนิคออสตินาโต เทคนิคโพลิคอร์ด และเทคนิคคอนทราแฟ็กท์ เป็นต้น บทประพันธ์เพลงมีความยาวประมาณ 35 นาที ประกอบด้วยบทประพันธ์เพลงย่อย 6 บท ได้แก่ บทประพันธ์เพลงที่ 1 ไพรมหากาฬ บทประพันธ์เพลงที่ 2 ดวงไฟสีแดงในดงมรณะ บทประพันธ์เพลงที่ 3 กฤติยามนตร์แห่งมหาคัมภีร์มายาวิน บทประพันธ์เพลงที่ 4 อาถรรพณ์ปราสาทพันธุมวดี บทประพันธ์เพลงที่ 5 นิลกาญจน์: หุบเขาแห่งความสงบ และบทประพันธ์เพลงที่ 6 เส้นทางสู่มรกตนคร การนำเสนอบทประพันธ์เพลงประสบผลสำเร็จตามวัตถุประสงค์ที่ได้กำหนดไว้อย่างสมบูรณ์ เป็นผลงานวิชาการที่ผสมผสานสุนทรียะทางดนตรีร่วมกับวรรณกรรม สร้างสรรค์แนวทางการประพันธ์เพลงแจ๊สรูปแบบใหม่ ซึ่งเป็นประโยชน์ต่อการศึกษาและพัฒนาวิชาการด้านดนตรีของไทยให้กว้างขวางยิ่งขึ้น |
| Other Abstract: | Doctoral music composition: The novel “Phet Pra Uma” for synthesis jazz ensemble is aimed to create an innovation in Background music. The first part of the novel was used as raw material to generate the composition with timbre, style, and tone of contemporary jazz. The composer combined the concept of jazz music composition with those of classical music and contemporary music. The integration also included other compositional techniques that the composer considered would create sounds relevant to the story. These techniques are such as modal jazz concept, twelve-tone concept, repetition and overlapping of rhythm patterns, the use of odd meter, ostinato technique, polychord technique, and contrafact technique. This composition takes approximately 35 minutes and consists of 6 movements as follows: 1st movement - The Marvelous Jungle; 2nd movement - Red Light in the Death Jungle; 3rd movement - The Magic of Mayawin Scripture; 4th movement - The Mystery of Puntummavadee Castle; 5th movement - Nillakarn: The Valley of Peace; and 6th movement - Route to the Emerald City. The composition was perfectly and successfully presented according to its purpose. Thus, this academic work, a blend of aesthetics of music with that of literature, has paved a way of new jazz music form. Moreover, it will be useful for music studies and will broaden the development of music education in Thailand. |
