| Abstract: | ศึกษาบทบาทของคอนเสิร์ตแห่งยุโรปในการรักษาอำนาจและความมั่นคง ของระบบกษัตริย์ในยุโรปที่ได้รับการฟื้นฟูขึ้นมาหลังสงครามนโปเลียน โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งบทบาทในการเป็นกลไกควบคุมพลังเสรีนิยมและชาตินิยม ที่มาท้าทายระเบียบดังกล่าว ผลจากการศึกษาพบว่าคอนเสิร์ตแห่งยุโรป ซึ่งได้รับการวางรากฐานโดยประเทศมหาอำนาจ ที่เข้าร่วมประชุมสันติภาพที่กรุงเวียนนาในปี ค.ศ. 1814-1815 ได้ทำหน้าที่เป็นกลไกในการรักษาระเบียบอนุรักษ์นิยม ภายในประเทศอย่างเต็มตัวในช่วงทศวรรษที่ 1820 โดยมีออสเตรียเป็นแกนนำ และคอนเสิร์ตยังคงสามารถปฏิบัติหน้าที่ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ในช่วงที่เกิดการปฏิวัติในปี ค.ศ. 1830 อย่างไรก็ตาม การปฏิวัติครั้งใหญ่ในยุโรปที่เกิดขึ้นในปี ค.ศ. 1848 อันเกิดจากพลังเสรีนิยมและชาตินิยมได้ทำให้คอนเสิร์ต ต้องประสบกับข้อจำกัดและนำไปสู่การสิ้นสุดของคอนเสิร์ตในที่สุด |
| Other Abstract: | To study the Concert of Europe by focusing on its role in preserving the absolute monarchical order restored in Europe after the Napoleonic War and by examining its role in controlling the internal dynamism of liberal and nationalist movements which threatened its existence. This study found that while the concert was able to function effectively in the 1820's and 1830's, the Revolution of 1848 seriously weakened the Concert and eventually led to its decline and breakdown. |
