| Abstract: | การดำเนินวิจัยเรื่องการถ่ายทอดดนตรีไทยของศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อุทิศ นาคสวัสดิ์ ผ่านสื่อโทรทัศน์มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาประวัติชีวิตและการถ่ายทอดดนตรีไทยผ่านสื่อโทรทัศน์ ใช้การวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาจากเทปบันทึกรายการจำนวน 2 เทปที่ท่านเป็นผู้ดำเนินรายาการด้วยตนเองและใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ สัมภาษณ์ทายาท ลูกศิษย์ใกล้ชิดและผู้เคยชมรายการ 14 ท่าน ผลวิจัยพบว่าท่านเกิดวันที่ 29 มีนาคม พ.ศ. 2466 ณ บ้านของท่านที่จังหวัดสมุทรสงคราม เป็นบุตรคนที่ 2 ในพี่น้อง 9 คน ตลอดชีวิตของท่านต้องต่อสู้ฟันฝ่าอุปสรรคในทุก ๆ ด้านไม่ว่าจะเป็นด้านการเรียน ด้านการงาน ด้านความรัก ตลอดจนการเรียนดนตรี ท่านเริ่มเรียนดนตรีไทยครั้งแรกกับบิดา ต่อมาเรียนซอสามสายกับพระยาภูมีเสวิน (จิตร จิตตเสวี) จนสามารถสีซอสามสายออกอากาศสถานีวิทยุได้ ต่อมาช่วงปี พ.ศ. 2499 ท่านได้มอบตัวเป็นศิษย์ท่านครูหลวงประดิษฐไพเราะ (ศร ศิลปบรรเลง) ท่านได้ศึกษาทั้งทฤษฎีและปฏิบัติจนสามารถบรรเลงเพลงเดี่ยวขั้นสูงโดยเฉพาะซอสามสาย ซอด้วง ซออู้ และขลุ่ย นอกจากนี้ท่านยังมีความคิดสร้างสรรค์ประพันธ์บทเพลงไทยประเภทต่าง ๆ ได้อย่างรวดเร็วและไพเราะเช่น บทเพลงเดี่ยว เพลงเถา เพลงเนื้อเต็ม เป็นต้น อีกทั้งยังรับมอบโองการไหว้ครูสามารถทำพิธีไหว้ครูดนตรีและนาฏศิลป์ได้ ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อุทิศ นาคสวัสดิ์ได้ริเริ่มรายการเกี่ยวกับดนตรีไทยผ่านสื่อโทรทัศน์ในปี พ.ศ. 2502 โดยใช้ชื่อรายการว่า “นาฏดุริยางค์วิวัฒน์” ทางสถานีโทรทัศน์ช่อง 7 จากนั้นเปลี่ยนชื่อรายการมาเป็น “ดร. อุทิศ แนะดนตรีไทย” ทางสถานีโทรทัศน์ช่อง 4 บางขุนพรหมมาตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2504 ซึ่งเป็นรายการดนตรีไทยที่ได้รับความนิยมจากผู้ชมเป็นจำนวนมากและได้รับการสนัหลังจากนั้นรายการได้ยุติลงเนื่องจากการจากไปของท่านในปี พ.ศ. 2525 จากการศึกษาพบว่าท่านใช้กลวิธี 5 วิธีคือ การดำเนินรายการด้วยสนุกสนานมีคารมคมคาย การพูดหยอกล้อกับนักดนตรี การใช้มุขตลกสอดแทรกไปกับการบรรยายพร้อมกับให้ความรู้ดนตรีไทยและโฆษณาสินค้า การใช้บทเพลงที่หลากหลายอารมณ์ทุกครั้งที่จัดรายการ และใช้ความรู้ ความสามารถ ไหวพริบปฏิภาณดำเนินรายการได้อย่างดีเยี่ยม ส่งผลให้มีผู้ชมติดตาม สามารถเผยแพร่ความองค์ความรู้ทางดนตรีไทยได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ |
| Other Abstract: | This article is part of a research project entitled transmission of Thai music by Professor Dr. Udhis Narkswasdi. The objectives are to study his biography and methods of conveying Thai music through a television programme by way of conducting qualitative methods: examining 2 recordings of the shows, interviewing relatives, close students, and former audiences of the programme totaling 14 persons. Research indicates that Professor Dr. Narkswasdi was born in 1923 at his residence in Samut Songkhram province. As the second child in a family of nine children. Throughout his life, he had to overcome many challenges including education, work, love, and even learning music. He first started Thai music lessons with his father taking saw sam sai lessons (three-stringed fiddle lessons) from Phraya Phamueesawin (Chitr Chittasewi) and later gave live performances on radio shows. In 1956, he devoted himself as a student to Luang Pradit Phairoh (Sorn Silapabanleng). Since then he studied music theories and became an exceptional musician on saw sam sai (three-stringed fiddle), saw daung (high-pitched fiddle), saw u (low-pitched fiddle), and khlui (flute). He was creative and quickly composed pleasant Thai music, such as solo music, sequential music (3 rhythms to 1 rhythm), and full music. He was conferred the right to officiate a pay homage to music and dance teachers’ ceremony. Dr. Narkswasdi first introduced televised music shows in 1959 which was called “Nattaduriyangwiwat” or translated as “Musical Evolution” on Channel 7. The show was later renamed “Dr.Udhis Suggests Thai Music” on Channel 4 of Bangkunphrom since 1961. It was a well received Thai music programme that Boonrawd Brewery Co., Ltd. became a permanent sponsor. The programme came to and end after Dr.Udhis passed away in 1982. Research findings show that five methods in transmitting Thai music through television are as follows: 1) use of entertaining content; 2) dialogues during the show with guest artists; 3) interjection of comedic jokes in between narrations of Thai music knowledge; 4) use of various music genres for each show; and 5) use of his own intellectual knowledge and ingenious attributes in hosting the televised programme. These resulted in numerous following viewers making the program an effective platform of sharing Thai musical knowledge to a wider audience. |
