dc.description.abstract	ศึกษาถึงประสิทธิผลและผลข้างเคียงของยาอะมิทราชในสุนัขหลายพันธุ์ เพศ และอายุ จำนวน 10 ตัว ที่เข้ารับการรักษาที่โรงพยาบาลสัตว์ด้วยโรคขี้เรื้อนขุมขนทั่วตัวทั้งนี้สุนัขทุกตัวมีประวัติการรักษาโรคดังกล่าวด้วยยากลุ่มออกฤทธิ์ต้านไรเช่น การฉีดหรือกินยาไอเวอร์เมกติน ซึ่งพบว่าเมื่อหยุดการให้ยาสุนัขก็กลับเป็นโรคขึ้นใหม่ ผลการตรวจตัวอย่างผิวหนังของสุนัขพบไรขี้เรื้อนขุมขนดีโมเด็กซ์ เคนิส ให้การรักษาสุนัขด้วยการเช็ดรอยโรคบนผิวหนังสัปดาห์ละครั้งด้วยยาอิมิทราชที่เจือจางให้ได้ความเข้มข้น 250 พีพีเอ็ม ภายหลังการรักษาพบว่ารอยโรคบนผิวหนังของสุนัขทุกตัวลดลงและรอยโรคบนผิวหนังหายไปทั้งหมดในประมาณสัปดาห์ที่ 6 ของการรักษา นอกจากนี้ผลการตรวจค่าเคมีคลินิกและระดับกลูโคสในเลือดของสุนัขทุกตัวพบว่าอยู่ในระดับปกติตลอดการรักษา	en_US
dc.description.abstractalternative	Efficacy of amitraz for treatment of canine generalized demodicosis was investigated in various breeds and ages in both female and male dogs. Ten dogs with a repeated history of generalized demodicosis were presented at the animal hospital. All dogs had been previously treated with miticide such as ivermectin injection and oral ivermectin but the symptoms recurred every time after the therapy had been stopped. Microscopic examination of the skin samples from all dogs revealed the presence of Demodex canis. Amitraz solution at a concentration of 250 ppm were weekly applied to all dogs. The skin lesions in all dogs decreased and resolution of the lesions were completed by week 6. Blood chemistries and blood glucose in all dogs were in the normal levels throughout the treatment period.	en_US
