| Other Abstract: | Presents a preliminary survey of library science research of Thailand, nothing the significant roles of graduate students of the Department of Library Science at Chulalongkorn and Srinakharinwirot (Prasarnmit Campus) Universities in library science research. Chronicles library science research studies on Thailand, citing annotated bibliographies, articles and theses. Reviews the priority of important events concerning library science research studies from 1885 to 1964. The significant areas of library science research are classified in terms of original papers, surveys of important categories of related research, and guidelines for future research. Concludes with remarks on the development of library science research in Thailand. Tables showing classifications of important areas of library science research and category surveys of related research are presented. Includes appendix on thesis topics classified by topic areas. |
