| Other Abstract: | Interlibrary loan or ILL is a communications link among the libraries or documentation centers with an intention to acquire the library materials lacked in their own to provide services to their users. This article is intended to touch on the necessity and objectives of interlibrary loan by presenting firstly the information background and the development of ILL abroad. It then discusses the ILL in Thailand, focusing on the ILL regulations, methods and problems. Finally, the National Libraries and Documentation Center of Southeast Asia Consortium or NLDC-SEA Consortium is also examined as the agency responsible for the Thai national interlibrary loan services. |
