| Other Abstract: | The Ministry of University Affairs realizes distinctly the function of the university libraries and in its attempt to impel the services of university libraries to be more effective, i.e. to provide extensively and rapidly services with economization, it thus promulgated the 1986 University Library Standardization. This promulgation is employed to be a minimum standardization for quality appraisal of general university libraries. The standardization issued is classified into two sections, namely : general standardization and quantitative standardization. The general standardization is sub-divided into structure and services, finance, library staff, library resources, library building and materials services, and inter-library cooperation. In the section of quantitative standardization, it includes number of library staff, library building and materials, number of library resources, and budget. |
