| Other Abstract: | Reports on training of advanced information work organized by Austrian Federal Ministry of Science and Research with the cooperations of UNISIST, FID, IFLA and Austrian Federal Chancellery, held at Graz and Lindabrunn, Austria. It aims to promote the training of teachers and workers in the information field from developing countries in the information transfer process. The training covers the range of methods of teaching and learning in the following areas of study: information retrieval, computing and telecommunication in information handlings, and library and information system management. Special lectures on activities of International Patent Documentation Center (INPADOC) and International Information Centre for Terminology (Infoterm) are presented. Considerable significance is attached to visits of observation to several famous libraries in Austria. |
