Other Abstract:	A letter of Phraya Dharmasakmontri addressed to the editor of publication “University” dated 5 December 1938, to offer his observation concerning the “Civil Servants School of King Chulalongkorn Which was the Origin of Chulalongkorn University” is presented. The latter discloses the interesting anecdote of why King Vajiravudh made up his mind to change the status of Civil Servants School to be Chulalongkorn University after the name of his father, King Chulalongkorn.
