Other Abstract:	The application of computers of university entrance examination has started since 1992. This article discusses the use of LAN (Local Area Network) for such purposes, nothing client-server, Bus topology, and TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Protocol). It also describes OSI (Open Systems Interconnection Model) and functions of its layers. The IEEE802 Project of the Institution of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the advantages of TCP/IP, and principles of client-server are considered.
