| Abstract: | การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการประเมินผลความพึงพอใจของนิสิตชั้นปีที่ 1 คณะรัฐศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ที่มีต่อการเรียนการสอนวิชาทักษะการค้นคว้าทางสังคมศาสตร์ทั้งการเรียนในชั้นเรียนรวมที่มีการสอน 8 หัวข้อได้แก่ หัวข้อการค้นคว้า การฟังและจดบันทึก การอ่าน การคิด การอ้างอิงเอกสาร การเขียน การนำเสนอ และการวิจารณ์และแสดงความคิดเห็น และการเรียนในชั้นเรียนย่อย โดยทั้งการเรียนในชั้นเรียนรวมและชั้นเรียนย่อยดังกล่าว ผู้วิจัยได้ศึกษารายละเอียดในด้านอาจารย์ผู้สอน เนื้อหาวิชา วิธีการสอน กิจกรรมการเรียนการสอน และการวัดและประเมินผล โดยใช้ระดับความพึงพอใจ 1-5 เป็นเกณฑ์ในการประเมินกลุ่มประชากรที่ใช้ในการศึกษาครั้งนี้เป็นนิสิตชั้นปีที่ 1 คณะรัฐศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัยทั้งสิ้น 227 คน โดยได้รับแบบสอบถามกลับคืนมา 216 ชุดหรือคิดเป็นร้อยละ 95.15 ของประชากรทั้งหมดการประเมินผลความพึงพอใจครั้งนี้ใช้วิธีการทางสถิติโดยประเมินตามระดับคะแนนความพึงพอใจที่นิสิตตอบในแบบสอบถาม และประมวลผลด้วยโปรแกรมสำเร็จรูป SPSS for Windows (Statistical Package for Social Science for Windows) ผลจากการวิจัยพบว่า 1. โดยรวมนิสิตร้อยละ 50.00 พึงพอใจการเรียนการสอนวิชาทักษะการค้นคว้าทางสังคมศาสตร์ ระดับปานกลาง 2. นิสิตพึงพอใจการเรียนการสอนในชั้นเรียนรวมและชั้นเรียนย่อยแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ ทางสถิติ โดยร้อยละ 59.26 พึงพอใจการเรียนในชั้นเรียนรวมระดับปานกลาง และร้อยละ 46.76 พึงพอใจการ เรียนในชั้นเรียนย่อยระดับมาก แต่เมื่อพิจารณารายละเอียดหัวข้อวิชาที่เรียนในชั้นเรียนรวมพบว่า นิสิตพึงพอใจ ทั้ง 8 หัวข้อในระดับมาก ได้แก่ หัวข้อการค้นคว้า การฟังและจดบันทึก การอ่าน การคิด การอ้างอิงเอกสาร การเขียน การนำเสนอ และการวิจารณ์และแสดงความคิดเห็น และเมื่อพิจารณารายด้านได้แก่ ด้านอาจารย์ผู้สอนเนื้อหาวิชา วิธีการสอน กิจกรรมการเรียนการสอน และการวัดและประเมินผล พบว่านิสิตพึงพอใจเกือบทุกด้านระดับมาก ยกเว้นด้านการวัดและประเมินผลที่นิสิตพึงพอใจระดับปานกลาง 3. นิสิตภาควิชาการปกครอง ภาควิชาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศ ภาควิชารัฐประศาสนศาสตร์และภาควิชาสังคมวิทยาและมานุษยวิทยา พึงพอใจการเรียนการสอนวิชาทักษะการค้นคว้าทางสังคมศาสตร์แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ โดยนิสิตภาควิชาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศพึงพอใจการเรียนการสอนวิชานี้ระดับมาก ในขณะที่นิสิตอีก 3 ภาควิชาพึงพอใจการเรียนการสอนวิชานี้ระดับปานกลาง |
| Other Abstract: | A survey was conducted to evaluate first-year students’ satisfaction at the Faculty of Political Science, Chulalongkorn University. This survey evaluates data for the subject of studying Skills in Social Inquiry which include 8 topics in large class: information searching; listening and note taking; reading; critical thinking; documentation; writing; presentation and criticism and in small group tutorial. The study focus on 5 major aspects of teaching criteria comprising lecturers; the contents; teaching methods; activities learning and measurement and evaluation. The evaluation was ranked by scoring from 1-5. The population used for the study consisted of 227 first-year students enrolled in the Skills in Social Inquiry subject in 2003 and 216 usable questionnaires or 95.15 percent were returned. Statistical method was used to evaluate the scoring of student satisfaction. The results were then processed by SPSS for Windows program (Statistical Package for Social Science for Windows) and summarized as follow : - 1. Almost all of first-year students (50.00%) are satisfied with Skills in Social Inquiry subject at medium level. 2. The level of students’ satisfaction with large class and small group tutorial are significantly different. 59.26 per cent of the students are satisfied with large class at medium level but 46.76 per cent of them are satisfied with small group tutorial at high level. In detail students are very satisfied with all 8 topics in large class and 4 aspects of the teaching criteria such as lecturers; the contents; teaching methods and activities learning but they are less sanguine about measurement and evaluation. 3. Results are significantly different among departments: students in the Department of Politics, Public Administration and Sociology and Anthropology are satisfied with this subject at the medium level where as the students in the Department of International Relations are satisfied with this subject at the high level. |
