dc.description.abstractศึกษางานวิจัยและทฤษฎีที่เกี่ยวข้อง เพื่อเป็นแนวทางในการศึกษาลักษณะไทยสมัยใหม่ของอาคารตัวอย่าง ที่ได้รับรางวัลสถาปัตยกรรมดีเด่นที่มีลักษณะไทยสมัยใหม่ จากสมาคมสถาปนิกสยามฯ โดยสำรวจลักษณะกายภาพของอาคาร พร้อมกันนี้ได้ศึกษาความคิดเห็นของสถาปนิกผู้ออกแบบ ผู้ใช้สอยอาคาร และสถาปนิกแกนนำ ซึ่งส่วนหนึ่งเป็นคณะกรรมการตัดสิน ให้รางวัลสถาปัตยกรรมไทยสมัยใหม่ดีเด่นจากสมาคมสถาปนิกสยามฯ เพื่อนำข้อมูลไปสร้างแบบสอบถามเกี่ยวกับการยอมรับลักษณะไทยสมัยใหม่ ของอาคารประเภทสถาบัน และแนวทางการพัฒนาลักษณะไทยสมัยใหม่ สำหรับงานสถาปัตยกรรมประเภทสถาบัน เพื่อใช้สอบถามกลุ่มสถาปนิกทั่วไปและกลุ่มบุคคลทั่วไป กลุ่มละ 100 คน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ทั้งกลุ่มสถาปนิกทั่วไปและกลุ่มบุคคลทั่วไปมีความเห็นว่า ลักษณะไทยสมัยใหม่มีการอ้างอิงและพัฒนารูปแบบมาจากลักษณะไทยในอดีต โดยมีความสอดคล้องกับเทคโนโลยีสมัยใหม่ ลักษณะไทยสมัยใหม่ที่เด่นชัดในเชิงรูปธรรม ได้แก่ การจัดกลุ่มอาคาร ทรงหลังคา ลักษณะของหลังคา สีและวัสดุมุงหลังคาเสาลอย พื้นที่ว่างที่เชื่อมกับภายนอก สัดส่วนและการจัดช่องเปิด ลักษณะการเปิด รูปแแบบผนัง วัสดุปูพื้น ราวระเบียง โครงจั่วเน้นทางเข้า ลายหน้าจั่ว ค้ำยัน และการจัดภูมิทัศน์ ลักษณะไทยเชิงนามธรรม ได้แก่ ลักษณะเบาและลอยตัว ลักษณะโปร่งโล่ง และลักษณะร่มรื่น ในขณะเดียวกันพบว่า ทั้ง 2 กลุ่ม ยังมีความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับการยอมรับลักษณะไทยสมัยใหม่ที่แตกต่างกัน ดังนั้น สถาปนิกผู้ออกแบบควรตระหนักถึงความคิดเห็นของบุคคลทั่วไป ซึ่งมีการรับรู้หรือมีความเข้าใจต่อรูปแบบสถาปัตยกรรมไทย ที่แตกต่างไปจากสถาปนิก โดยสถาปนิกจะต้องนำการรับรู้ที่มีต่อสถาปัตยกรรมไทยของกลุ่มบุคคลทั่วไป เพื่อพิจารณาประกอบการออกแบบด้วย สำหรับแนวทางการพัฒนาลักษณะไทยสมัยใหม่ สำหรับงานสถาปัตยกรรมประเภทสถาบันที่ควรคำนึงถึง ได้แก่ การอิงลักษณะไทยทางนามธรรมมาใช้ การนำลักษณะไทยท้องถิ่นตามที่ตั้งของอาคารมาใช้โดยมีการปรับเปลี่ยน การคำนึงถึงสภาพภูมิอากาศ และการใช้วัสดุและเทคโนโลยีสมัยใหม่ ที่ช่วยประหยัดพลังงานให้กับอาคารen
dc.description.abstractalternativeThe theoretical research has been done as a guideline of the modern Thai character. The study of physical environment of the buildings combinded with the opinions of architects, building dwellers, and some leading architects, who are a part of the award committee from the ASA, in order to set up a questionnaire about the opinion and acceptance of the modern Thai character for institutional architecture and the development of this modern Thai character. The questinnaire will be delivered to two groups of subjects, 100 each, who are architects and general people. According to the research findings, both architects and general people think that the modern Thai character has been derived from developing and adapting the traditional Thai character. But the modern Thai character was derived from the new technology that make it modern appealing. The preeminent tangible modern Thai character such as building grouping, the roof profile and character, colour and material of roof, free standing columns, interlinkage between inner and outer space, proportion and the arrangement of void and wall, flooring, baluster, gable structure for entrance gate, gable end pattern, bracket and landscape. The abstract modern Thai character includes lightness, transparency, and shadiness, Nevertheless, both groups do not totally agree on the whole modern Thai character. Therefore, when architects will start to design anything, they should be concerned about the general people's perception in terms of their views of Thai architecture that are different from those of architecture that are different form those of architects. The development of the modern Thai character for institutional architecture focuses on related culture, local characteristics, weather, materials used and new technology in energy saving for the buildings.en
