Abstract:	กรณีศึกษาพิธีกรรมฆ่าควายเลี้ยงผีในระบบความเชื่อของชนเผ่าและความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างพิธีกรรมกับชีวิตของชนเผ่าในเซกอง รวมทั้งศึกษาความเปลี่ยนแปลงที่เกิดจากสภาพแวดล้อมทางเศรษฐกิจและสังคม ที่ทำให้ชนเผ่าเหล่านี้ต้องปรับทั้งความเชื่อและการดำเนินชีวิตของตนให้สอดคล้องกับความเป็นจริงในปัจจุบัน
Other Abstract:	This paper is a case study of buffalo sacrifice to spirits in the tribal system of belief and of the relationship between rites and the way of life of the tribes in the Xekong Province. It also includes a study of the changes which result from the adaptation of tribal belief and way of life to present reality.
