| Abstract: | การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพแนวปรากฏการณ์วิทยา เพื่อศึกษาประสบการณ์ด้านจิตใจของผู้ดูแลในครอบครัวของผู้ป่วยจิตเภท ซึ่งเป็นผู้ที่พาผู้ป่วยเข้ารับการรักษาที่แผนกจิตเวช โรงพยาบาลจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลด้วยวิธีการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกผู้ให้ข้อมูลเป็นรายบุคคล จำนวน 9 คน เป็นชาย 1 คน หญิง 8 คน ผลการวิจัยพบว่าประสบการณ์ด้านจิตใจของผู้ดูแลในครอบครัวของผู้ป่วยจิตเภทประกอบด้วย 3 ประเด็นหลัก คือ 1) สภาพจิตใจที่หลากหลายเมื่อรับรู้ว่าญาติของตนมีอาการทางจิต คือ ความรู้สึกและความคิดของผู้ดูแลในครอบครัวที่เกิดขึ้นเมื่อรู้ว่าญาติของตนมีอาการทางจิต ได้แก่ ความสงสาร ความเสียใจ ความผิดหวัง ความกังวล ความท้อแท้ ความรู้สึกปลง และความคิดที่จะดูแลผู้ป่วย 2) สภาพจิตใจที่ขึ้นลงเมื่อให้การดูแลผู้ป่วย ผู้ดูแลในครอบครัวรายงานว่ามีจิตใจที่เป็นทุกข์และจิตใจที่เป็นสุขหมุนเวียนเป็นวงจรตลอดการให้การดูแลผู้ป่วย และ 3) การปรับสภาพจิตใจของผู้ดูแลในครอบครัว เป็นวิธีการที่ผู้ดูแลในครอบครัวนำมาใช้เพื่อทำให้สภาพจิตใจของตนดีขึ้น ได้แก่ การทำใจยอมรับ การบอกตนเองให้เข็มแข็ง การยึดความเชื่อหรือหลักทางศาสนาเป็นที่พึ่งทางใจ และการเปรียบเทียบความทุกข์ของตนกับผู้อื่น ผลการวิจัยครั้งนี้ทำให้เข้าใจประสบการณ์ด้านจิตใจของผู้ดูแลในครอบครัวในการดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภทมากยิ่งขึ้น และสามารถใช้เป็นแนวทางในการวิจัยครั้งต่อไป และนำไปใช้เป็นความรู้พื้นฐานในการออกแบบโปรแกรมหรือกิจกรรมสำหรับผู้ดูแลในครอบครัวของผู้ป่วยจิตเภท |
| Other Abstract: | This study was phenomenological approach aimed to examine the psychological experiences of schizophrenic patients’ family caregivers of Ayutthaya Hospital. Data were collected by in-depth interviewing 9 key informants(1 male, 8 female). The findings were presented in 3 major themes: 1) The variety of psychological states when being informed of mental illness diagnosis. Family caregivers reported that they feel sympathetic, sad, disappointed, worried, discouraged, composed and accepted, and responsible for taking care of the patients. 2) The fluctuation of psychological states when taking care of the patients. Family caregivers reported the impermanence of suffering and delight during the period of caretaking, and 3) Ways of emotional coping reported by family caregivers were : Acceptance, positive self talk, relying on religious principles or beliefs, and downward social comparison. This study provided better understanding of psychological experiences of schizophrenic patients’ family caregivers. The findings can be used to design appropriate program or intervention for family caregivers and for further research. |
