| Abstract: | วัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อสร้างแบบสอบความสามารถในการใช้โครงสร้างภาษาอังกฤษ สำหรับนักเรียนเริ่มเรียน จากผลการเรียนตามความสามารถของแต่ละบุคคลของนักเรียนที่ใช้อุปกรณ์จิแลป (JILAP) และจากผลการเรียนโดยใช้แบบเรียน The Oxford English Course for Thailand Book two and Book Three วิธีดำเนินการวิจัย ผู้วิจัยได้สร้างแบบสอบความสามารถในการใช้โครงสร้างภาษาอังกฤษ จำนวน 3 ชุด แต่ละชุดประกอบด้วยแบบสอบคู่ขนาน (Parallel forms) ซึ่งมีจำนวนข้อประมาณ 15-20 ข้อ นำแบบสอบไปทดลองสอบกับนักเรียน 2 ระดับชั้น กล่าวคือ นักเรียนชั้นประถมปีที่ 6 โรงเรียนเทศบาลวัดธาตุทอง และชั้นประถมปีที่ 4 โรงเรียนสาธิตมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ ซึ่งได้เรียนภาษาอังกฤษมาเป็นเวลา 2 ปี กับนักเรียนชั้นประถมปีที่ 7 โรงเรียนเทศบาลวัดธาตุทอง และชั้นประถมปีที่ 5 โรงเรียนสาธิตมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ ซึ่งได้เรียนภาษาอังกฤษมาเป็นเวลา 3 ปี นำคะแนนที่ได้มาวิเคราะห์ข้อสอบเป็นรายข้อ (Item analysis) หาค่าระดับความยาก ค่าอำนาจจำแนกของข้อสอบ คำนวณหาค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ความคลาดเคลื่อนมาตรฐานของค่าเฉลี่ย ความเชื่อถือได้ของแบบสอบ ความคลาดเคลื่อนมาตรฐานในการวัดสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ของคะแนนแบบของเพียร์สัน และคำนวณอัตราส่วนวิกฤต เพื่อศึกษาความมีนัยสำคัญของผลต่างระหว่างค่าเฉลี่ย คัดเลือกข้อสอบที่ดีจากการทดลองสอบของแบบสอบแต่ละคู่ โดยยึดหลักการพิจารณาค่าระดับความยากและอำนาจจำแนก รวมข้อสอบเป็นชุดเดียวกันในแต่ละแบบสอบ นำแบบสอบความสามารถในการใช้โครงสร้างทั้ง 3 ชุด ไปทดสอบจริงกับตัวอย่างประชากรซึ่งเป็นนักเรียน จำนวน 1,076 คน คำนวณค่าสถิติของแบบสอบและข้อสอบ โดยใช้โปรแกรมอิตานัล (ITANAL) ผ่านเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ IBM 350/145 (IBM 350/145 Computer) ของสถาบันเทคโนโลยีแห่งเอเชีย ค่าสถิติที่คำนวณประกอบด้วย ค่าระดับความยาก อำนาจจำแนก ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ความคลาดเคลื่อนมาตรฐานของค่าเฉลี่ย ความเชื่อถือได้ของแบบสอบ และความคลาดเคลื่อนมาตรฐานในการวัด ผลการวิจัย ได้แบบสอบความสามารถในการใช้โครงสร้างภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับนักเรียนเริ่มเรียน จำนวน 3 ชุดๆละ 15 ข้อ ผลของการสอบจริงปรากฏว่า แบบสอบทั้งสามมีค่าระดับความยากกระจายตั้งแต่ง่ายจนถึงยาก คือตั้งแต่ .14 - .93 ค่าอำนาจจำแนกระหว่าง .33 - .78 ซึ่งอยู่ในเกณฑ์ที่ดีมาก ความเชื่อถือได้ของแบบสอบทั้งสาม ( ) มีค่าระหว่าง .77 - .91 ซึ่งอยู่ในเกณฑ์ที่น่าพอใจ นอกจากนี้แบบสอบยังมีความตรงตามเนื้อหา |
| Other Abstract: | Purpose The purpose of this study was to construct effective English structure proficiency tests for beginners. The tests were based on individualized language materials, The Jacaranda Individualized Language Arts Program (JILAP), and The Oxford English Course for Thailand Book two and three. Procedures Three levels of English structure tests were constructed. Each level consists of two parallel forms of 15-20 items each. These tests were pretested with two levels of students - Pratom 6 Wat Tat Thong School students and Pratom 4 Kasetsart Demonstration School students who had studied English for 2 years, Pratom 7 Wat Tat Thong School students and Pratom 5 Kasetsart Demonstration School Students who had studied English for 3 years. Item analyses were performed and indices of item difficulty and item discrimination were derived. Means, standard deviations, standard errors of means, reliabilities and standard errors of measurement were calculated for each test. Pearson Product-Moment Correlation were calculated to determine the equivalence of the parallel forms. Z ratios were calculated to determine the differences between means of the two forms. Good items were selected from each pair of pretest on the basis of item difficulty and discrimination, and combined into a single form. The resultant-English structure tests were post-tested with the population of 1,076 who were Khorn Kaen students. Test and item statistics were computed using program ITANAL on an IBM 350/145 computer at the Asian Institute of Technology. Statistics computed included indices of item difficulty and item discrimination, means, standard deviations, standard errors of means, reliabilities and standard errors of measurement. Results Three effective English structure proficiency Tests for beginners were produced. Each was composed of 15 items. The major findings from the post-test were that the level of item difficulty varied from easy to difficult (.14-.93). The discrimination power was in a high level (.33-.78). However, the reliabilities of the tests were satisfactory ( = .77-.91). The tests also had content validity. |
