dc.description.abstractการวิจัยนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อสำรวจภูมิหลังของสมาชิกสภาเทศบาลสตรีทั่วประเทศ และหาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างภูมิหลังของสมาชิกสภาเทศบาลสตรี ในฐานะนักการเมืองสตรี กับการเข้าสู่กระบวนการทางการเมือง วิธีดำเนินการวิจัยมี 2 วิธี คือ วิธีที่ 1 ใช้แบบสอบถามเก็บข้อมูลจากสมาชิกสภาเทศบาลสตรีทั่วปะเทศ 110 คน วิธีที่ 2 จับสลากเพื่อสุ่มหากรณีศึกษาจากสมาชิกสภาเทศบาลสตรีทั่วประเทศ โดยถือพื้นที่ 4 ภาคเป็นเกณฑ์ ประโยชน์ที่ได้รับก็คือ วิธีแรกให้ภาพกว้างในขณะที่วิธีหลังให้ภาพลึกของเรื่องที่วิจัย ผลของการวิจัยพบว่า ปัจจัยหลักทางภูมิหลังที่มีผลต่อการเข้าสู่กระบวนการทางการเมืองของสมาชิกสภาเทศบาลสตรี คือ ความเป็นทายาททางการเมือง และฐานะทางเศรษฐกิจของครอบครัวของสมาชิกสภาเทาศบาลสตรีดังกล่าว หรืออีกนัยหนึ่ง กล่าวได้ว่า การได้รับมอบหมายให้สืบทอดตำแหน่งทางการเมืองจากครอบครัว และฐานะทางเศรษฐกิจของครอบครัว เป็นปัจจัยหลักของการเข้าสู่กระบวนการทางการเมืองของสมาชิกสภาเทศบาลสตรี-
dc.description.abstractalternativeThis research includes two objectives: (1) to survey backgrounds of woman municipal council members, and (2) to study relationships between backgrounds of woman municipal council members as politicians and the political recruitment processes involved. The procedure of research can be seperated into 2 stages. The first stage is sending 110 questionnaires to all woman municipal council members for general background information. At the second stage, in-depth case studies were selected within each region using random sampling technique. The results show that women who are recruited into municipal politics and are woman municipal council members are those who come from economically well-to-do families and they have been chosen by family members to represent the family. Other factors such as age, sex, education, etc. are not important criteria.-
