dc.description.abstract	ศึกษาระดับฮอร์โมนเทสโทสเตอโรน และลูทีนไนซิ่งฮอร์โมนในชายไทยที่เสพติดเฮโรอีน 50 คน เปรียบเทียบกับคนปกติ พบว่าผู้เสพติดเฮโรอีนมีระดับฮอร์โมนเทสโทสเตอโรนต่ำกว่าคนปกติอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ แต่ระดับลูทีนไนซิ่งฮอร์โมนไม่ต่างจากระดับปกติอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ อย่างไรก็ตามภายหลังจากการบำบัดรักษาด้วยเมธาโดนเป็นเวลา 14 วันระดับฮอร์โมนเทสโทสเตอโรนและลูทีนไนซิ่งฮอร์โมนจะเพิ่มขึ้นเมื่อเทียบกับก่อนเข้ารับการบำบัดรักษา	en
dc.description.abstractalternative	Plasma testosterone and luteinizing hormone were examined in fifty Thai male heroin addicts before and after methadone treatment compared with normal Thai males. Significantly (P<0.05) suppressed plasma testosterone levels were recorded in heroin addicts but significantly changes in plasma leuteinizing hormone levels were not observed. However, after 14 days of methadone detoxification the testosterone and leuteinzing hormone levels were rised from the pre-tretment period.	en
