| Other Abstract: | The article describes the condition of learning and teaching in higher education, the acceptance of influence to learning and teaching by Thailand and educational technology and mass media. The article states that in general, learning and teaching innovations influence the changes in social concepts and value of education, noting the process of independent study, individual study, lifelong education and community college. On distance education and open university, distance education in Australia, University via radio and Television in France, Open University in England, Open Tech Projects in England, the University of the Air in Japan and Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University (STOU) are discussed with diagrams. The discussion focuses on the system and management at STOU. The final topic is the educational trends in higher education as a result of technology and innovations. |
