Other Abstract:	The article gives the background of the program and then discusses the concepts, the infrastructure and facilities, environmental control and migration measures. Key participants in the program and the Southern Seaboard Development Committee members are also listed. The progress of the plan is reported at the end of the article. Included are maps of shipping lanes: Trans-Thai Landbridge to other major ports, tanker routes, Khanom terminal (Gulf of Thailand gateway), Khanom terminal development concept and Krabi terminal development concept.
