| Abstract: | ความนิยมและการเติบโตของธุรกิจหนังสือธรรมะในช่วงปรากฎการณ์หนังสือธรรมะขายดีตั้งแต่ปี 2547 ถึง ปี 2556 สะท้องถึงสถานะทางความรู้และความเข้าใจพุทธธรรมของคนไทย แม้จะมีความหลากหลายของการเข้าใจพุทธธรรมดังที่ปรากฏในหนังสือธรรมะที่ได้รับความนิยมหลายเล่ม แต่ “พุทธศาสนาแบบปัญญาชน” สามารถสถาปนาเป็นแนวทางหลักของความรู้ความเข้าใจพุทธธรรมร่วมสมัย กระนั้นข้อผิดพลาดที่พบในหนังสือธรรมะขายดีหลายเล่ม เช่น ความรู้ที่ไม่ถ่องแท้ หรือ ความล้มเหลวทางธรรมของตัวนักเขียนหรือเจ้าของเรื่อง หรือ สำนักพิมพ์ ทำให้สามารถตั้งคำถามได้ว่าหนังสือธรรมะอาจไม่ต่างจากวัตถุมงคลคือเป็น “พุทธพานิชย์” ได้หรือไม่ อันเป็นสภาวะลำบากใจที่พุทธศาสนาต้องเผชิญในการปรับตัวเองในสังคมโลกียะสมัยใหม่ |
| Other Abstract: | Popularity and growth of dhamma-book’s business in a phenomenon “bestselling dhamma-books” period from 2004 to 2013 reflected a status of knowledge and understanding about Buddhism in Thai society. Although there were varities of Buddhist’s understanding as appeared in many popular dhamma-books but “Intellectual Buddhism” could established themselves as contemporary mainstream Buddhism. But obvious mistakes in contents, incautious editing process or misconducts of some writers, however, led to a serious question; Is dhamma-book, as same as sacred amulet, a buddhist commercial? These demonstrated uneasy ways to modernized Buddhism in secular society. |
