dc.description.abstract | Five compounds, β-sitosterol, stigmasterol, cycloartocarpin, 2,4-dihydroxybenzaldegyde and 3, 5, 2’,4’-tetrahydroxystilbene were isolated from the heartwood of Artocarpus lakoocha Roxb. extract by mean of chromatographic techniques. All the compounds were identified by physical properties and chemical reactions and structures were elucidated by spectroscopic techniques. Cycloartocarpin and 2,4-dihydroxybenzaldehyde were reported the first time in this plant. | - |
