dc.description.abstractวิทยานิพนธ์นี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์ ในการศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการกำหนดความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างราชอาณาจักรลาวกันสหภาพโซเวียตในทศวรรษ 1950 โดยได้ศึกษาอิทธิพลของปัจจัยทั้งภายนอกและภายในของราชอาณาจักรลาวมาวิเคราะห์ให้เห็นปัจจัยนำไปสู่การกำหนดความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างราชอาณาจักรลาวกับสภาพโซเวียต ในการศึกษานี้ผู้วิจัยได้นำเอากรอบความคิดทางการเมืองแบบเกี่ยวพันและความคิดจักรวรรดินิยม-อาณานิคมมาช่วยในการวิเคราะห์ถึงปัจจัยที่คาดว่าจะมีอิทธิพลต่การกำหนดความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างราชอาณาจักรลาวกับสหภาพโซเวียต เนื่องจากผู้วิจัยมองว่า ขบวนการดำเนินนโยบายต่างประเทศของประเทศใด ๆ ก็ตามย่อมเป็นผลมาจากการเกี่ยวกันระหว่างปัจจัยภายในและปัจจัยนอก จากการศึกษาปัจจัยภายนอกของราชอาณาจักรลาวพบว่า การกำหนดความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างราชอาณาจักรลาวกับสหภาพโซเวียตในทศวรรษ 1950 เป็นผลมาจากปัจจัยต่อไปนี้ คือ ประวัติศาสตร์การปกครองลาวของฝรั่งเศส สภาวะสงครามเย็นภายใต้แกนนำของสหรัฐอเมริกา และ นโยบายต่างประเทศของสหภาพโซเวียต นโยบายต่างประเทศของสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน และนโยบายต่างประเทศของเวียดนามเหนือต่อราชอาณาจักรลาว ส่วนการศึกษาปัจจัยภายในของราชอาณาจักรลาวพบว่า ปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการตัดสินใจในการกำหนดความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างราชอาณาจักรลาวกับสหภาพโซเวียตได้แก่ สถานการณ์ทางการเมืองภายใสของลาวที่ไม่มีความสงบและสภาพเศรษฐกิจที่ตกต่ำของลาว ซึ่งทำให้ผู้นำลาวต้องได้ปรับนโยบาย เพื่อจะได้รับความช่วยเหลือจากบรรดาประเทศที่ฝักใฝ่ฝ่ายคอมมิวนิสต์ เพื่อมาแก้ไขสถานการณ์การเมืองและมาพัฒนาประเทศของตนให้มีความเจริญก้าวหน้า-
dc.description.abstractalternativeThe objective of this thesis is to examine factors instrumental in determining relations between the Kingdom of laos and the U.S.S.R in the 1950's. It analyses the internal and external factors of the Kingdom of Laos that influenced its relations with the U.S.S.R Employing the concepts of "linkage politics" and "colonial imperialism", this study found that Laos's decision to establish ties with the Societ Union was based on several external factors, including the French-colonialism in Laos, the bi-polarity during the Cold War in which Laos sided with the United States, the foreign policies of the Soviet Union, China and North Vietnam toward the Kingdom of Laos. It also found that the Kingdom of Laos's internal political and economic factors forced its leaders to open door to the Socialist countries such as the U.S.S.R for economic and military assistances in order to cope with the country's problems.-
